Some People Just Need to be Shot Themselves

Can you believe what happened at Virginia Tech? What is wrong with people?!?! I have been watching the news and hating him more every moment but I've been getting the story and he went in at seven and waited until nine to start. He chained the doors shut so that no one could get out and then he lined up 32 peopel in a row and shot them execution style. One by one he shot them. Can you imagine watching your calssmates, your friends be shot and killed and then having a gun pointed at you and be killed? What kind of person does that?! Talk about heartless and cruel and just plain evil! My god! That's so unfair. Those poor people. All of them, with futures ahead of them and family and friends waiting for them at the end of the day, are dead. They have no future because some nutjob decided to take it away from them! They're dead because he decided to kill them...

I know this may sound weird to some people, but seriously, we need to pray. We need to pray for those that died and their families and we need to pray for peace. We need to ask for this to stop becuase it NEEDS to stop. We can't have anymore innocent people being killed ANYWHERE. Not at school, not on the streets, not in terrorist attacks, not anywhere. Nothing like this should happen becuase of blind hate. I don't care if you don't believe in the power of prayer or if your faith is different from mine, this has to stop. This needs to stop. War, hate, violence, and cruelty need to stop. Pray. Please. Pray for all of those involved today and pray for those that were involved in any previous crime or upcoming crime, that they may stop and realize that they are about to take away the life of a mother...a father...a brother....a sister... a friend...

Please pray, it works wonders sometimes. Remember last year with Sarah? See what pray can do? Please, maybe if we all pray, someone upstairs will hear us and take away this grief and pain and hate and cruelty and war. Maybe we will have peace.

Please.

Pray.

This is obviously the work of a mad man... we need to wait and see what this was all about... they haven't even disclosed who the gunman was and what could possibly been his motives. Yes, prayer is about the only thing we can do now.

The new is saying that this is the largest mass shooting in America. It is very sad. The one thing that made this experience worse for everyone is the media. Many news anchors are using this tragedy as a story, questioning the school as if they should have know that this event would take place. Be informative, but blame and guilt will only hurt the situation. How was the school supposed to be prepared for an event like this?

Comment on darcy's comment... Be happy this is the largest mass shooting in America... it's only 32 people that died we could have had a lot worse... please don't take this comment the wrong way...

It takes a very sad and desperate person to kill themself, let alone 32 other people. Like Mr. R said we don't know the gunman's motives yet but many people may have been heartless and cruel to him, too. Remember Columbine. We need to pray for peace and that we can be kind to all people all time-- even when we don't think it matters.

The media may make it worse, but it needs to be said. People need to know what is going on. Would you rather know nothing? This is something the media has to talk about becuase it is a story in the sickest sense of the word. We have to be told so that we can take precautions ourselves and know what is out there. I don't want to live in a bubble. I want to know what is going on.
